The county of San Diego is making it easier for businesses and community organizations to host mobile vaccination events at their place of business. Businesses can fill out an online request for a mobile vaccination team to come to their worksite. This initiative is an effort to increase access to COVID-19 vaccines, especially for employees whose work schedules make it difficult to obtain a shot at a traditional vaccination site. Organizations interested in hosting a COVID-19 vaccination event can sign up at bit.ly/2RMuhag. Contact [email protected]

The hospital is in front of the Oceanside Transit Center and has separate dog and cat entrances and drop-off safety procedures. Also, through May 31, the hospital is collecting donations for Shelter to Soldier, a nonprofit that rescues shelter dogs and pairs them with post-9/11 combat veterans battling brain injuries and post-traumatic stress disorder.
